Integration to the Federal Employment Agency of Germany

With this integration, you can automatically transfer your open jobs to Bundesagentur für Arbeit (BA)— for free.

To automate the transmission of your job postings from JOIN to BA, you need to take the required steps mentioned below:

Requirements for an integration

  1. Register as a company with the Federal Employment Agency 

    If you do not have an employer account or employer number yet, you need to register here and verify it. Your employer account should have the status "betreut" (supervised). To do this, contact the Employer Service of the Federal Employment Agency. Call your assigned contact person and request that your account be marked as "betreut" in their "Verbis" system (if it is not already).

  2. Request a cooperation agreement for using the HR-BA-XML interface
    To request this agreement, send an email to:

  1. Sign the cooperation agreement and receive your data
    Return the signed cooperation agreement to the Federal Employment Agency. You will then receive:

    • Certificate

    • Certificate PIN

    • Allianz Partner Number

    • Customer Number (10-digit number)

    • Supplier-ID

Activating the Bundesagentur für Arbeit integration

  1. Submit your credentials in JOIN

    Go to Settings > Integration > Bundesagentur für Arbeit.

    Activate the integration by uploading your certificate and entering all your credentials:

    • Upload certificate file (this is issued annually—please update it regularly!)

    • Certificate PIN (received via post after signing the agreement)

    • Allianz Partner Number

    • Customer Number (10-digit number)

    • Supplier-ID

    We will set up the integration and you can check the integrations tab to confirm if it's 'Connected'.

Transmission of your jobs

Once the integration is active, all jobs you publish through JOIN will automatically be transferred to the job board of the Federal Employment Agency. All applications received will also be transmitted to JOIN, where you can manage them as usual.

Common reasons for a job to be rejected:

If a job posting is rejected by the Federal Employment Agency, the following issues may be the cause:

  1. The job location and federal state do not match.

  2. The job advert is for a training position, but your company is not registered as eligible to offer training.

  3. Any form of discriminatory language or content.
